MicroLaserPeel

MicroLaser Peel is used to remove a thin layer of damaged skin with less redness, swelling and rapid healing process

MicroLaserPeel

You might think that minimally invasive means minimal results – NOT with the Sciton MicroLaserPeel!

This is a precisely controlled superficial laser peel. Some people call it “weekend peel”: if you have your treatment done on a Friday, you can be back to work on Monday. *MicroLaserPeel™* is a very mild form of Laser Skin Resurfacing. During treatment, we remove a very thin layer of damaged skin to improve texture & provide a more youthful appearance. *MicroLaserPeel™* offers more remarkable results than chemical peel or microdermabrasion. The treatment can be custom-tailored to your specific skin condition and desired outcome to ensure excellent results after only a single procedure.

The MicroLaserPeel’s beam is gently moved over a treatment area to remove a thin skin layer. Damaged top layer skin cells give skin this tired and aged look. As the skin heals after the procedure, new and fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is healthier-looking skin, with improved skin color and texture, reduced lines and wrinkles. Our patients often say that their skin went from looking tired to vibrant.

Now you may ask: what happens during MicroLaserPeel treatment? First, a treatment area skin is cleaned, and your eyes are protected with special safety shields. Then, the medical aesthetician positions the laser handpiece above the skin and controls it as the computer-guided laser beam starts moving over the treatment area. At Revitta, treatment usually takes about 30 minutes, although time varies depending on the size of the area being treated.

Does a MicroLaserPeel™hurt?

MicroLaserPeel causes only minimal discomfort because it does not penetrate deep into the skin. At its most shallow settings, most people can tolerate treatment without anesthetic at all. MicroLaser Peel is performed with a topical anesthetic to provide a comfortable experience when we use deeper settings.

After treatment is completed, you will see that the skin has a “frosty” appearance. This is the dehydrated skin that will peel away within the next couple of days following the treatment. You may experience a sensation resembling sunburn and some skin redness, as well as mild swelling.

In a few days, you will notice a significant and visible change in skin texture and tightness.

We always recommend post-procedure skincare products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be sensitive after the treatment, so you must avoid direct sun exposure and use sunblock for about six weeks.

You will see good results just after one treatment. However, the number of procedures needed may vary from patient to patient. At Revitta we tailor a plan based on your specific needs and help you to combine MicroLaser Peel with other cosmetic procedures to personalize your treatment further.
